TYPE C TRANSMISSION

Nave of the synchronizer of transfers 3–4

Since January, 1983 (a code of date of manufacturing of "DC") in mechanical transmissions of type C naves of the synchronizer of transfers 3–4 new type are applied. This change is entered for elimination of vibrations of a ring of the synchronizer, arising in not switched on synchronizer. The entered change does not influence a method of dismantling and the transmission assembly, given in subsection 6.1.5.

Fastening of a back case

Since March, 1983 (a code of date of manufacturing of "DD") the back case of a transmission of type C fastens by means of bolts with a Torx type head.

In the course of unscrewing and a tightening of these bolts obligatory use of the corresponding tools (Torx E12) of these bolts adapted for heads. Use of the inappropriate tool will cause damage of a head of a bolt.

Other information concerning a technical characteristics, adjustment and repair of a mechanical four-speed transmission, is provided in subsection 6.1.
