3.1.4.3.1.7. Fuel system

GENERAL INFORMATION

In fuel system of the engine of 2,0 NANOSECONDS of DOHC 2V (N8A) the electric fuel pump and the Weber TLD carburetor is applied, and in the engine of 2,0 NANOSECONDS of DOHC EFI (N9A) the system of injection of Ford Motorcraft EFI incorporated with system of ignition is applied and enters into a control system of the EES IV engine.

Fuel tank

The fuel tank made of a steel sheet is fixed by two steel collars before a back axis.

Capacity: 60 dm3.

Fuel type: etilirovanny gasoline with octane number 98 or unleaded with octane number not less than 95 (the engines adapted for work on unleaded gasoline).

Air filter

The air filter has a replaced paper element.

Brand and type: Motorcraft EFА 56.

System of injection of Ford Motorcraft EFI

The multipoint injection of fuel operated elektronno, Ford Motorcraft EFI incorporated with system of ignition entering into a control system of the EES IV engine is applied. Fuel is brought to nozzles with constant pressure. The EES IV electronic actuation device doses out a portion of sprayed fuel and operates ignition, and also blocks supply of fuel in the engine during braking by the engine.
