GENERAL INFORMATION

Zachekanka of a case of hydrokinetic transfer at installation of a sealing ring

Since May, 1986 the sealing ring of the oil pump is fixed by a way of a zachekanka of a case of hydrokinetic transfer.

Knot of a vacuum regulator of gear shifting

Since June, 1988 the new valve of a vacuum regulator of gear shifting with designation is used: 84 GT of 7D 080 BA. It is possible to determine it by a pro-point in an average part (4).

Bolts of adjustment of tapes of brakes of an automatic transmission

Since August, 1988 the method of adjustment of tapes of brakes of an automatic transmission is changed:
  – the bolt (And) adjustments of a tape of an average brake should be unscrewed (after complete screwing up) on 2,5 turns;
  – the bolt (In) adjustments of a tape of a forward brake should be unscrewed (after complete screwing up) on 2 turns.

The changed form of the oil pallet of an automatic transmission

The arrow specified the changed form of the pallet.

From model of 1989 automatic transmissions are equipped with oil pallets of the changed form and oil pumps with longer maslopriyemnik.

From a factory code 8 K 24 automatic transmissions have oil pallets with a magnet.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OF FORD A 4 LD

In April, 1989 electrohydraulic management of a transmission about blocking of hydrokinetic transfer by system of inclusion of the 3rd and 4th transfers is entered.

Blocking of coupling of hydrokinetic transfer provides the EES IV electronic actuation device. This coupling will be unblocked by each pressing a brake pedal.

Transition with the 3rd on the 4th transfer provides the additional electromagnetic valve operated by the EES IV electronic actuation device.

The switching moment with the 4th on 3-юю transfer (a transfer reduction) is optimized on the basis of data on speed of movement, load of the engine and the provision of a pedal of an accelerator.

After pressing of a pedal of an accelerator against the stop (kick-down) the electronic device operating automatic transfer causes:

  – blocking of hydrokinetic transfer to movement time on the 3rd transfer with speed of 130 km/h;
  – transfer switching with the 3rd on the 4th at number of turns more than 6100 rpm;
  – a transfer reduction with the 4th on 3-юю at number of turns of the engine less than 4200 rpm.

Adjustment of a cable of a reduction of transfers (kick-down mechanism)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To include ignition, to press against the stop a pedal of an accelerator and to hold her in this situation.
2. To turn the lever of the kick-down mechanism of an automatic transmission counter-clockwise against the stop.
3. To establish the Ford 17.031 adaptation on a cable, not to allow its excessive tension.
4. To weaken bolts of fastening of the electromagnetic valve.
5. To move the electromagnetic valve in forward situation at which considerable resistance is felt.
Prevention

If the electromagnetic valve is moved too far, the cable will be weakened. In this case it is necessary to remove the valve back and to repeat the previous operations.


6. To tighten the corresponding moment at first the bottom bolt of fastening, and then the top bolt.
7. If adjustment is carried out correctly, the electromagnetic valve should hold the kick-down mechanism lever at distance of 0,3-0,8 mm clockwise from extreme situation.
8. If the cable is too tense, the electromagnetic valve will not reach the correct situation and the lever after passing through a magnet will return to the previous situation. It is necessary to repeat adjustment of a tension of a cable.
