3.1.4.4.8. Head of the block of cylinders of the engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

Knot of a head of the block of cylinders of the DOHC engine

1–head of the block of cylinders,

2–laying of a head of the block of cylinders,

5–cover of a head of the block of cylinders,

6–laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders

Removal of a head of the block of cylinders

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect from the accumulator a weight wire.
2. To remove the air filter together with its pipelines.
3. To merge cooling system by bolt unscrewing in the lower right part of a radiator.
4. To disconnect from a radiator the top elastic pipeline, the pipeline from a broad tank and the pipeline from the thermostat.
5. To disconnect the elastic pipeline of heating of salon of the car from a head of the block of cylinders.
6. To disconnect the pipeline of removal of air from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
7. To disconnect a pedal cable акселератораа. In the carburetor engine to unscrew a butterfly valve cable together with the holder, and in the engine with injection of fuel to disconnect draft from the butterfly valve case after extraction from a clip from an artificial material.
8. In engines with injection of fuel to disconnect from an inlet collector the vacuum pipeline.
9. In engines with injection of fuel to disconnect the pipeline of supply of fuel to a regulator of pressure and to nozzles.
10. To disconnect a wire of a high voltage from the ignition coil.
11. To unscrew a nut of the top fastening of a forward exhaust pipe to a final collector.
12. To lift the car.
13. To unscrew two other nuts of fastening of a forward exhaust pipe to a final collector.
14. To lower the car.
15. To unscrew wires of a high voltage from spark plugs and to uncover the ignition distributor (Torx T25 key).
16. To unscrew spark plugs.
17. To take the ignition distributor.
18. To uncover heads of the block of cylinders (11 bolts and 4 nuts).
19. To remove the top casing kardanny chains of system of a gazoraspredeleniye.
20. To unscrew two bolts of Torx of fastening of asterisks of cam-shafts.
21. To establish the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT.
22. Will designate a chertilka interposition of tooth of an asterisk and a vzaimodeytsvuyushchy chain with it.
23. To remove top directing to a chain.
24. To remove a lock ring of an axis of the tension device and the tension device of a chain (see fig. Installation of a gazoraspredeleniye of the DOHC engine).
25. To take an axis of the tension device of a chain by means of bolt М6x70 and plugs in length of 15 mm.
26. To remove the tension device of a chain.
27. To remove asterisks from both cam-shafts.
28. To take a hydraulic pusher of the tension device.
29. To remove covers of bearings of cam-shafts, gradually alternately unscrewing covers of bearings and the pipeline of supply of oil.
Prevention

Covers of bearings are designated at plant that in the course of assembly were established on the corresponding places.


30. To take cam-shafts.
31. To take hydraulic pushers and to designate them so that at assembly they were established on the places.
32. To weaken on a half-turn bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in sequence of return to process of their tightening (see fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders of the DOHC engine) and then to unscrew bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.
Prevention

Bolts cannot be used again for fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.


33. To remove a head of the block of cylinders together with inlet and final collectors. After removal from the block of cylinders of a head it is impossible to lay down it on the bottom surface.

Bolts М11 – sequence of a tightening: 1–10.

Installation of a head of the block of cylinders

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To clear surfaces of a prileganiye of laying on a head of the block of cylinders and the block of cylinders of the engine.
2. To establish on the block of cylinders new laying of a head.
3. For elimination of possibility of damage of valves and pistons follows, rotating a cranked shaft, to establish the piston of the 1st cylinder in situation about 20 mm below VMT.
4. To establish a head on the block of cylinders of the engine.
5. To screw in a hand bolts in openings in a head of the block of cylinders (see fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders of the DOHC engine).
6. To tighten bolts in the sequence shown on fig. Sequence of a tightening of bolts of a head of the block of cylinders of the DOHC engine, in five stages:
       – the 1st stage (bolts М11 – sequence 1-10): 25 Nanometers;
       – the 2nd stage (bolts М11 – sequence 1-10): 55 Nanometers;
       – the 3rd stage (bolts М11 – sequence 1-10): to tighten on 90 °;
       – the 4th stage (bolts М11 – sequence 1-10): to tighten on 90 °;
       – the 5th stage (bolts М8 – sequence 11-13): 24–27 Nanometers.

Prevention

Two long bolts М8 are screwed in in the openings designated as (11) and (12), and short bolt М8 – in an opening (13).


7. To grease with a thin butter layer of a surface of hydraulic pushers and to establish them in the corresponding places in nests of a head of the block of cylinders.
8. To grease surfaces of sliding of bearings of a cam-shaft on a head of the block of cylinders and to establish on them cam-shafts so that shponochny grooves were sent to the forward party to the right.
9. To put on covers of bearings, paying attention to their designations:
       – R1–R5 – covers of bearings of a shaft of inlet valves (R1 – from a drive of system of a gazoraspredeleniye);
      – L1–L5 – covers of bearings of a shaft of final valves (L1 – from a drive of system of a gazoraspredeleniye).
10. To insert the pipeline of supply of oil to cams and top directing kardanny chains of system of a gazoraspredeleniye.
11. To tighten the corresponding moment bolts of fastening of covers of bearings of cam-shafts alternately, one after another corresponding to their numbers.
12. To disassemble a hydraulic pusher of the tension device and to merge from it oil.
13. By means of the special adaptation 21.145 to collect the hydraulic pusher of the tension device filled with oil for the engine. For this purpose it is necessary to establish a pusher case the flat party on a workbench, and on it the adaptation plug a cone up. To establish the pusher piston on the plug and to compress everything together the lever of the adaptation which publishes a characteristic sound after a dozhatiya against the stop (in the lowest situation).
14. To arrange in directing a hydraulic pusher of the tension device of a chain.
15. To establish the tension device of a chain and its lock ring.
16. To check, whether there is a piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT (the flute of a shponochny groove of a cranked shaft is directed down).
17. To put on two asterisks of cam-shafts together with a chain, observing the correct interposition according to the signs which have been blurted out in the course of removal of asterisks.
18. To execute some turns cranked shaft in the direction of its working rotation, and then to check correctness of a relative positioning of shaft and a chain.
19. To establish top directing together with a spring clip of fastening.
20. To establish the top casing kardanny to chains of system of a gazoraspredeleniye together with new laying.
21. To establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders together with new laying.
22. To tighten bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders the corresponding moment, beginning from extreme bolts and finishing on averages.
23. To screw up spark plugs.
24. To establish the ignition distributor, a rotor and a distributor cover.
25. To connect to candles and the coil of ignition of a wire of a high voltage.
26. To screw on a final collector a forward exhaust pipe together with new laying.
27. To connect wires to engines of fans of a radiator and a plait of wires to the electronic actuation device.
28. In the engine with injection of fuel to connect топливопровода to a regulator of pressure and nozzles.
29. To connect vacuum the pipeline.
30. To connect a cable of a pedal of an accelerator.
31. To connect to a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of the pipeline of system of removal of air.
32. To connect to a head of the block of cylinders the elastic pipeline of heating of salon of the car.
33. To connect the top elastic pipeline to a radiator, the pipeline to a broad tank and the thermostat.
34. To establish the air filter.
35. To add amount of oil in system of greasing of the engine and to fill system of cooling with the corresponding liquid and to remove air from it.
36. To connect to the accumulator a weight wire.
37. To check adjusting parameters of the engine idling.

Repair of saddles of valves and valves

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If results of measurements show that after regrinding of a working facet of the valve will correspond to requirements, it is possible to repair them in specialized repair shop. In this case it is necessary to order regrinding of the corresponding saddles of valves also.
2. To check a condition of a working facet of valves.
3. To check a condition of a working facet of saddles of valves.
4. To check tightness of knot the valve saddle.
5. Very carefully to clear a head of the block of cylinders after regrinding of saddles and grinding in of valves of particles of an abrasive material and metal sawdust.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To oil cores of valves.
2. To insert the valve in directing in which it worked earlier, to stick flutes on the end of a core of the valve with a sticky tape.
3. To establish the bottom basic plate of springs of valves.
4. To oil a working edge of a maslosjemny cap of the valve and to insert it by means of the corresponding assembly plug.
5. To remove a sticky tape.
6. To repeat the last four operations for other valves.
7. To establish serially on each valve the corresponding springs, the top basic plates of springs and crackers by means of the adaptation for compression of springs of valves.
8. To screw on a head of the block of cylinders final and inlet collectors.
