Since November, 1988 in Ford Sierra cars with diesel engines instead of a mechanical five-speed transmission of type N the mechanical five-speed transmission of MT 75 type is established.
The transmission three-gross, a classical design has five synchronized transfers for advance (the 4th transfer – a straight line) and the synchronized transfer of a backing. The box is established along a car axis behind the engine. The lever of gear shifting is established on a car floor.
Type: oil for transmissions of Ford ESD M2C of 186 A.
Periodicity of service: level check each 20 000 km or once a year; periodic replacement of oil is not provided.
