GENERAL INFORMATION

COVER OF THE HEAD OF THE BLOCK OF CYLINDERS

Since October, 1987 (a code of date of manufacturing of "HU") all diesel engines 2,3 ^{of dm3} are equipped new type with a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and laying (from a silicone material).

Prevention

New laying of a head of the block of cylinders can be used repeatedly provided that it remove very carefully and at removal it was not damaged.

At installation of laying of new type it is necessary to arrive as follows.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Carefully to clear all surfaces of contact of laying with a head of the block of cylinders and a cover; to remove all remains of laying of old type.

2. On a condensed surface of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders to put a path of blue pressurizing paste (being in packing together with laying) width of 1,5-2 mm.

3. To establish laying on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and to wait for 45 minutes, pressurizing paste will not dry yet.

4. To oil on a head of the block of cylinders a surface of contact of laying of a cover

5. To establish a cover and to tighten nuts of fastening of a cover the moment of 4 Nanometers.

Prevention

Excess of this moment of a tightening of nuts will cause laying damage.

MAPLE BELTS OF THE DRIVE OF UNITS OF THE ENGINE

Tension adjustment

For normal operation of units of the engine put in action by maple belts, the corresponding tension of these belts is required.

Prevention

If have no the special adaptation for check of a tension of maple belts, it is necessary to regulate them so that by pressing a thumb on a half of the greatest piece belts caved in on 4 mm.

FLYWHEEL

The tightening of bolts of fastening of a flywheel "on a cross" and in two stages is recommended:

– 1 stage: moment of 20 Nanometers;
– 2nd stage: moment of 100 Nanometers.
