GENERAL INFORMATION

The oil pump takes away engine oil from a case and under pressure submits it via the short channel to the polnoprotochny oil filter. The safety valve which was in the pump regulates the maximum pressure created by the pump. At excess of pressure created by the pump, the valve opens and перепускает oil in a case. The cleared oil via the filter arrives to the trunk oil main. In case of a contamination of the filter the reduktsionny valve and a part of oil, without cleaning opens, sends to the trunk main.

From the trunk main oil on five small channels arrives to radical necks of a cranked shaft. Through diagonal openings in a cranked shaft oil arrives to shatunny necks and further is sprayed on walls of cylinders.

From the trunk main oil arrives to an intermediate shaft and further to the ignition distributor. At the same time, engine oil through three oil pipelines moves directly to cam-shaft bearings. From the average bearing, through raspylitelny oil pipelines oil moves on all cams and levers.

Through an oil separator (2) with the adjustable valve (1) karterny gases are taken away in an inlet collector. Ventilation of a case depends on a stream of sucked-in air working engine. The adjusting valve as well as in an oil stopper, it is necessary to wash out the filter in fuel through each 20 000 km of run. Replacement of the valve is necessary for making through each 40 000 km of run of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To warm up the engine to normal working temperature.
2. To disconnect an electric wire from the sensor of a control bulb of pressure of oil and to unscrew its sensor (in the cars equipped with a manometer of pressure of oil to disconnect the union of its pipeline).
3. To screw up in an opening in the block of cylinders a control manometer.
4. To start the engine and to check pressure of oil at number of turns of idling and 2000 rpm are higher. Pressure of oil should make at least 100 kPas, but 500 kPas are not higher.
5. To unscrew a manometer and to screw up the sensor of a control bulb of pressure of oil.

Replacement of the masyany filter

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To unscrew from the block of cylinders the oil filter.
2. To oil a surface of laying of the new oil filter.
3. To screw up the oil filter to a laying contact about a surface of the block of cylinders. Then to tighten the filter a hand on 3/4 turns.

Repair of the oil pump


Prevention

Gear wheels of the oil pump are picked up by pairs and in case of need it is necessary to replace both gear wheels.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To put on a back surface of an external gear wheel (bigger) a sign for its installation in the same provision of rather internal gear wheel (smaller) in the course of assembly in what it was taken from a factory packing.
2. To remove the oil pallet of the engine.
3. To remove the oil pump, having unscrewed three bolts of fastening of the pump to the block of cylinders.
4. To uncover the oil pump and to take gear wheels, and also to remove the pipeline of supply of oil to the pump.
5. To punch an opening in the middle of a rubber stopper of the perepuskny valve of the pump.
6. To take a rubber stopper by means of a bolt of the corresponding diameter.
7. To take a spring and the piston of the perepuskny valve.
8. To insert both gear wheels into the pump case, observing their correct relative positioning.
9. By means of a ruler and щупа to measure gap size between the plane of the case of the pump and the back planes of gear wheels. If it exceeds the most admissible value, it is necessary to replace the pump case.
10. With the help щупа to check a gap between an external gear wheel and the pump case. If it exceeds the most admissible value, it is necessary to replace the pump case.
11. To grease parts of the perepuskny valve with engine oil and to establish perepuskny the valve.
12. To establish a rubber stopper of the perepuskny valve the flat party outside. It should be on the brink of a condensed surface of the pipeline of supply of oil to the pump.
13. To grease with engine oil both of a gear wheel of the pump.
14. To establish a cover of the oil pump and to tighten its bolts the corresponding moment.
15. To insert a shaft transferring a drive from an intermediate shaft (the end with an asymmetrical ledge should be sent towards the ignition distributor), to a shaft of a drive of the pump and, turning it a hand to be convinced that gear wheels of the pump cooperate without jammings.
16. To establish laying and the pipeline of supply of oil to the pump.
17. To establish the oil pump in the block of cylinders, tightening bolts of fastening the corresponding moment.
18. To attach the oil pallet to the block of cylinders. It is necessary to begin with a bolt (And) to (In), and then from a bolt (In) to (And).
