Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To open a cowl and to fix in open situation.

2. To remove the bottom casing of a steering column previously having unscrewed 3 screws.

3. To unscrew a bolt of fastening of an arm and to remove an arm together with a cable.

4. In a motor compartment to remove from a cable cover the rubber plug and to unhook a cable from the locking lever.

5. To extend a cable through a partition from a motor compartment in the car.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence of return to removal. It is necessary to give special attention on tight landing of the rubber plug in a partition.

Prevention

If the cowl is closed and there was a break of a cable it is necessary to insert a long screw-driver between a radiator and facing of a radiator and to wring out to the left locking lever, then to open a cowl.
