8.6.2. Removal and installation of steering transfer

GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal of steering transfer with the Cam Gear hydraulic booster

1–bolts of fastening,
2–pipelines of the high pressure, feeding the hydraulic amplifier,
3–the pipeline of the high pressure submitting oil to the operating valve,
4–pipeline of low pressure (oil return)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To lower the engine and to connect to a coupling case.
	2. To unscrew a bolt of a tightening holder of a flange of the elastic hinge and to disconnect a shaft of a steering wheel from a driving gear wheel of steering transfer.
3. To lift the car and to remove forward wheels.
4. To take шплинты and to unscrew koronchaty nuts of spherical hinges of steering drafts.
5. To disconnect steering drafts from rotary fists of wheels by means of a stripper 13.006.
6. To unscrew pipelines of a high pressure from the case of transfer and to merge oil from hydraulic system.
7. To unscrew the pipeline of low pressure from the transfer case.
8. To unscrew two bolts (1) (see fig. Removal of steering transfer with the Cam Gear hydraulic booster) fastenings of the case of steering transfer to a cross-piece of a body and to take steering transfer.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish the case of steering transfer on the corresponding place and to screw up two bolts of fastening of the case of steering transfer to a body cross-piece.

2. To connect hydraulic pipelines, establishing new laying on connections.

3. To connect steering drafts to rotary fists of wheels.

4. To tighten all carving connections by the corresponding moments.

5. To establish forward wheels and to lower the car.

6. To fill in oil and to remove air from steering system.

7. To check and in case of need to adjust a disorder / convergence of wheels.
