6.1.5. Dismantling and assembly of a transmission of type C

GENERAL INFORMATION

Case of a mechanical transmission of type C

1–forward part of a case,
2–back part of a case,
3–cover,
4–the directing plug of the vyzhimny bearing of coupling,
5–cover laying

Gear wheels of a mechanical transmission of type C

1–primary shaft,
2–secondary shaft,
3–axis of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft,
4–gear wheel of continuous gearing of an intermediate shaft,
5–axis of an intermediate gear wheel of a reverse gear,
6–the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers,
7–the synchronizer 1 - oh – 2-oh transfers,
8–precision bearing,
9–gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer
Numbers of transfers of separate gear wheels are provided in black circles (by AR – a reverse gear)

Mechanism of gear shifting of a transmission of type C

1–lever of gear shifting,
2–draft of management,
3–ring of the device of fixing,
4–selector,

5–forks 3 - it – 4-oh transfers,
6–forks 1 - oh – 2-oh transfers,
7–forks of a reverse gear

Dismantling of a secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To take a lock ring from a nest in a back part of a case of a transmission.
2. To take completely secondary shaft (striking with a copper hammer).
3. To remove a lock ring of a nave of the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers, to take a nave of the synchronizer and a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer (it is possible to use a universal stripper with two cheeks).
4. To take a lock ring and to remove from a secondary shaft a gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer, and also a latch ball.
5. To remove a lock ring, the precision bearing, and also a sealing ring from a secondary shaft; in the course of performance of this operation to rest a gear wheel of the 1st transfer to a steel support in the form of a letter U of the corresponding sizes.
6. To remove a lock ring of a nave of the synchronizer 1 - oh – 2-oh transfers, and then to remove completely the synchronizer 1 - oh – 2-oh transfers.
7. To remove two naves of the synchronizer, sliding couplings, to take crackers and springs.
8. To lift the car.
9. Coupling guard.
10. The bottom bolts of fastening of a case of coupling to the block of cylinders.

Assembly of a secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully to clear all details and to check their technical condition, and before assembly to oil for transmissions.
2. In case of installation of new factory details it is necessary to cover them working surfaces, and also cooperating surfaces of a secondary shaft with special S-MIC-4505 A greasing.
3. To "paste" by means of greasing crackers of clamps to naves of synchronizers 1 - oh – 2-oh and 3 - it – 4-oh transfers. To insert sliding couplings of synchronizers on naves and to establish according to their designations.
4. To insert on a secondary shaft a nave with the synchronizer plug 1 - oh – 2-oh transfers, directing back the pro-point of the plug intended for forks. To establish a lock ring.
5. To insert a ring of the synchronizer and a gear wheel of the 1st transfer. To insert a sealing ring so that its bigger diameter was from a gear wheel.
6. To define thickness of a necessary spring ring fixing on secondary to a shaft the bearing. For this purpose it is necessary to arrive in the same way, as well as in a case, for a type A transmission (see subsection 6.1.4).
7. To establish on a secondary shaft the ball bearing, and also a lock ring of necessary thickness.
8. To cover a surface of the ball bearing with universal greasing for exact bearings.
9. To press the ball bearing into place on secondary to a shaft by means of the plug of the corresponding sizes or other corresponding universal tool.
10. To establish on a secondary shaft a gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer and to establish a secondary shaft so that deepening on a ball of a clamp was from above. To establish a clamp ball in a nest, it is correct to establish a gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer on a shaft and to fix a lock ring.
11. To establish on a secondary shaft the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers by a ring thickening forward. To establish a lock ring.
12. To warm up a back part of a case of a transmission by immersion it in hot water and to establish in it a secondary shaft.
13. To insert a lock ring on a necessary place. This ring should be in a nest in a back part of a case of a transmission.

Dismantling and assembly of primary and intermediate shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove from primary shaft a lock ring and the bearing.

Prevention

For simplification of the subsequent installation of the bearing to establish on its place a lock ring of big diameter.

2. To cover with universal greasing precision bearings of primary shaft, to press the bearing and to take a lock ring of big diameter.
3. To take (inserted in the course of removal of an axis of an intermediate shaft) a core from an opening in the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft. To take 29 bearing needles and persistent washers from two parties of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft.
4. Again to insert the taken core into an opening in the block of gear wheels. To fill from its both parties with universal greasing space between a core and an opening of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft.
5. To establish one after another from both parties: remote plug, set of bearing needles and second remote plug.
6. To take by means of a screw-driver a sealing ring from an external ring of the bearing of primary shaft.
7. To cover an edge of a sealing ring with universal greasing.
8. By means of the corresponding adaptation carefully to press a new sealing ring into the bearing of primary shaft.
