7.7. Adjustment of bearings of gear wheels of the main transfer

GENERAL INFORMATION

Leading gear wheel of the main transfer together with conic bearings and the being deformed remote plug

1–external conic bearing,

2–the being deformed remote plug.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. By means of adaptations 15.033 and 15.074 to take an external ring of the external bearing of a gear wheel of the main transfer from a case of the back bridge (in case of the bridge 6,5" to use the aligning adaptation 15.068).
2. To establish a new external ring of the external bearing of a gear wheel of the main transfer by means of the adaptation 15.033.
3. To take in the same way an external ring of the internal bearing.
4. To establish a new external ring of the internal bearing together with new laying in thickness of 2 mm by means of the adaptation 15.083 (and also adaptations 15.068 in case of the bridge 6,5").
5. By means of the corresponding stripper to remove the internal conic bearing (an internal ring and rollers) from a gear wheel of the main transfer and to remove the remote plug.
6. To establish the new internal conic bearing together with the new laying in thickness of 1 mm located between the bearing and a gear wheel of the main transfer.
7. To oil conic bearings of a gear wheel for transmissions.
8. To insert a gear wheel into a case, to establish on a gear wheel the remote plug and the external conic bearing.
9. To screw up a nut of fastening of bearings and to tighten it by means of the bent cap key of 36 mm and the adaptation 15.073. During a nut tightening by means of a dynamometer 15.041 placed in the adaptation 15.073, it is necessary to measure the moment of resistance of rotation of a gear wheel of the main transfer.
10. The nut of fastening of bearings should be tightened so that to achieve necessary moment of resistance of turn of a gear wheel (see subsection 7.1).
