GENERAL INFORMATION

Measurement of an axial gap between semi-axial gear wheels and a differential box

Dismantling of differential is obligatory only when the gap between semi-axial gear wheels and a box of differential exceeds value of 0,15 mm or when satellites or semi-axial gear wheels are damaged.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. By means of the adaptation 15.026 A to remove bearings of a box of differential.
2. To establish a differential box in a vice, to weaken bolts of fastening of a conducted gear wheel of the main transfer and to separate a gear wheel with a box, carefully striking in fastening bolts.
3. To unscrew bolts of fastening and to remove a gear wheel from a differential box.
4. To take an adjusting pin of an axis of satellites.
5. To take an axis, satellites and their adjusting laying.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To establish semi-axial gear wheels together with new adjusting laying with a thickness picked up according to earlier measured gaps.
2. To establish satellites together with basic laying and an axis.
3. To heat up a conducted gear wheel of the main transfer (by its lowering in hot water) and to put on it a differential box. To provide a normal centering with a way of installation of four bolts of fastening.
4. After adjustment of installation of gear wheels of the main transfer (see subsection 7.8) to establish differential bearings.
