GENERAL INFORMATION

Gear wheels and shaft of a mechanical five-speed transmission

1–primary shaft,
2–secondary shaft,
3–gear wheel of continuous gearing of an intermediate shaft,
4–axis of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft,
5–axis of an intermediate gear wheel of a reverse gear,
6–the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers,
7–the synchronizer 1 - oh – 2-oh transfers,
8–synchronizer of the 5th transfer,
9–ball bearing,
10-a nut of fastening of a gear wheel of the 5th transfer on intermediate to a shaft,
11-gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer.
Numbers of transfers of separate gear wheels are provided in black circles (by AR – a reverse gear)

Dismantling of a secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a lock ring from a synchronizer nave 3 - it – 4-oh transfers and to take a ring of the synchronizer and a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer.
2. To remove a lock ring and two adjusting half rings of a gear wheel of the 2nd transfer.
3. To remove from a vtoichny shaft a gear wheel of the 2nd ередачи.
4. To remove from a secondary shaft a gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer.
5. To remove from a secondary shaft the synchronizer and a gear wheel of the 5th transfer.
6. To remove a lock ring of the bearing from a secondary shaft and to take a secondary shaft from an average part of a case of a transmission.
7. To remove from a secondary shaft a sealing ring, a gear wheel of the 1st transfer and a ring of the synchronizer of the 1st transfer (see fig. Dismantling of a secondary shaft).
8. To take the bearing of a secondary shaft from an average part of a case of a transmission.

Assembly of a secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before assembly to oil for a transmission of a surface of cooperating details.
2. In an average part of a case of a transmission to establish the bearing of a secondary shaft and to fix a lock ring of this bearing.
3. To establish spring rings on naves of synchronizers.
4. To establish on a secondary shaft a ring of the synchronizer of the 1st transfer and a gear wheel of the 1st transfer.
5. To establish on a secondary shaft a sealing ring working edges in the direction from the bearing (see fig. Dismantling of a secondary shaft).
6. To establish in an average part of a case of a transmission the bearing, a secondary shaft and a lock ring.
7. To establish in an average part of a case of a transmission the bearing, a secondary shaft and a lock ring.
8. To establish on a secondary shaft a gear wheel of the 5th transfer, a sealing ring and the synchronizer of the 5th transfer.
9. To establish on a secondary shaft a gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer. To observe distance
And = 123 ± 0,5 mm.
10. To establish on a secondary shaft the synchronizer 1 - oh – 2-oh transfers. The flute (for forks) on the sliding coupling of this synchronizer should be directed forward.
To establish a synchronizer ring, a gear wheel of the 2nd transfer both two adjusting half rings and a lock ring (in drawing installation of a lock ring of the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers is shown).
To establish on a secondary shaft a gear wheel 3-oh transfers, the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers and a lock ring.
If the synchronizer understood, at its assembly it is necessary to pay attention, that the flute on the sliding coupling was directed forward.

Dismantling and assembly of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft

Dismantling of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft does not represent special difficulties. It is necessary to pay attention to losing needles of bearings and remote plugs (forward and back) needle bearings. At assembly it is necessary to establish carefully two remote plugs and to cover needles of bearings with konsistentny greasing that they did not drop out in the course of installation of a shaft of the block of gear wheels.
